MILES FROM NOWHERE, BUT NOW WE ARE GETTING SOME PLACE! (Click Photos to Enlarge)

This Mojave Desert salvage yard has been located here since the 1950's "in the middle of nowhere" (after all, who wants to live next door to an auto dismantler?) . . . This salvage yard generates a respectable income for its owner! It is common knowledge that a vintage vehicle is worth much more for its parts vs. the acquisition price of an intact vehicle.

This salvage yard dismantles and parts-out mainly late 1930's through 1940's trucks and commercial vehicles. Then, these hard-to-find parts are sold to collectors, restorers, and vintage car enthusiasts via the Internet through Hemmings Motor News, eBay, and other popular online classified ad and auction websites.

The 1939 Chevy Tow Truck in the foreground is still in use at the salvage yard! (Heck, look at all of the spare parts they have access to keep their truck running.)
